Coating for fittings and accessories
All fittings, accessories and pipes not centrifugally cast shall be delivered externally and internally coated either by a paint coating or by an epoxy coating in conformity with EN 14901; fittings may also receive an internal lining of cement mortar, machine or hand applied, as a supplement to or as a replacement of the above paint coating.
The coating shall uniformly cover the whole surface of the casting and have a smooth regular appearance. Drying shall be sufficient to ensure that it will not stick to adjacent coated pieces.
